"Today is the birthday of my face-book friend, Anne Lister. Anne has provided me with an abundance of pleasure over the past year as I have followed her daily excursions around the strange and the familiar. Although we have never met in person, her goodness shines through for all to see. As a special thank you, Anne, on this your birthday, I dedicate my 'Thought for today' to you.
"The sun rises and sets upon all in equal measure, yet some hearts beat warmer for its touch. Its rays touch and bestows favour of one more day to live beneath her skies. Want not for the warmth of another by letting go of all cold exchanges and replacing them with hope, merriment and cheer.
