Of all my stories ever published, the most popular have been the four stories of ‘Douglas the Dragon’ and the four stories of ‘Sleezy the Fox.’ Indeed, so popular were they to prove that when Princes William and Harry were aged 9 and 7-years-old, their lately deceased mother, Princess Diana phoned me and requested that I send her a copy of each that she could read them to the young princes at their bedtime. So, I suppose it can be said that both of these published books of mine have been read to the next King of England and his brother, Prince Harry.
‘The Douglas Dragon’ stories proved popular with psychologists in Kirklees during the 1990s in their work with abused children and children of aggressive temperament. As the founder of ‘Anger Management’ groups in Great Britain during the early 70s, all four stories of ‘Douglas the Dragon’ contain ‘anger management’ principles.
The ‘Sleezy the Fox’ stories proved popular because of the overarching theme of ‘second chances’ which run through all four stories.
It now possible to enable a free download of the ‘Douglas’ and the ‘Sleezy’ stories in audio format so that people with reading or sight deficiency can hear all eight stories.
