My Wedding on 10th November 2012
(All sound effects of singing and service are unedited)
For all of those people who were unable to attend the wedding between Sheila and Bill, we include as much of it as we are able to in the form of photographs, images and sound of the Order of Service inside 'Haworth West Lane Baptist Chapel'. The sound quality is naturally adversely affected by distortions and movement in places, yet it enables those who weren't present to hear most of the Service. While we include photographs of our wedding reception at 'The Old White Lion Hotel', Haworth, we have no audio recording of the magnificent entertainment that was provided by the Daramy-Williams' family.
Sheila and I thank everyone who attended, serviced, assisted or offered their congratulations and gifts. We thank all of my children and grandchildren, family members and Sheila's family side, and all of our friends and neighbours for making our day very special.
Particular mention of our heartfelt appreciation is given to:
Rev. Chris Upton
Best Man: Richard Laurence Lumb
Bridesmaid: Julia Daramy-Williams
Singers: Peter Daramy-Williams, Julia Daramy-Williams, Edmond Daramy-Williams and Sophia Daramy-Williams, The Choirs of 'Haworth West Lane Baptist Chapel' combined with the choir of 'St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church', Keighley
Musicians: Concert Pianist Mata Daramy-Williams, Violinist Sarah Daramy-Williams and Victoria Daramy-Williams
Recitalist: Winston Williams for reciting the poems 'Elegy written in a country churchyard' by Thomas Gray and 'Arthur and Guinevere' by William Forde.
We also extend our thanks to Graham Smith, the Proprietor at Bronte Media and Voice of the Valleys for his photographic services and for the arrangement and compilation of our wedding slide show, along with his audio recording of part of the wedding service.
We thank Julie Bolton for the beautiful wedding cake she made and my 70th birthday cake for the evening Rock and Roll function at St.Mary's Hall in Batley, along with Al Kilvington and the Aces, singers David and Richard Green, and all of our rock and roll friends who helped my sisters with the catering arrangements.
Finally, we give thanks to God for bringing us both together at this time in our lives and for blessing our union through the facilitation of a fine, sunny day on November 1Oth, 2012.
