Douglas the Dragon
These are abridged versions of my four 'Douglas the Dragon' stories, which were recorded in the early 1990s for the original purpose of radio transmission.
The theme of the stories are Anger, Fear and Love and the stories identify the 'Anger Management Process', which I, William Forde founded in 1971 and freely gave to the world.
When Princes William and Harry were 9 and 7 years old respectively, their mother contacted me and requested that I send her a copy of my 'Douglas the Dragon' and 'Sleezy the Fox' stories that she wanted to read to her sons at their bedtime. It is a nice thought to know that the next King of England was read this book as a child by his mother, the late Princess Diana.

All profits from booksales is given to charity. There is also a 'Douglas the Dragon Musical Play' that is a composite of these four stories that can be freely downloaded along with the five originally composed songs professionally recorded that accompany it. There is also a musical backing track to the songs that enable musical versions to be staged by children, young persons and adult actors. This musical play was funded through the National Lottery in recognition of my long established involvement with 'Anger Management' and was freely distributed in hardbook and video form to one thousand schools and libraries in Yorkshire.
