"In the battle between 'great' and 'small', significance of difference cannot always be judged to weigh heavier on one side as opposed to the other.
Some seek to have their life made up of great sacrifices and personal struggle in their duties to self and others. I salute them most heartedly.
For me though, I consider my life to be made up of smaller things; little things that amuse and please, small things of great significance. I have never underestimated the power of a smile; the simplest of all bodily gestures that is capable of melting the harshest of hearts and warming the coldest of souls. A smile is the firmest of all handshakes in the field of introduction. It is also the most disarming of all weapons when worn by the face of a female in want of something that either daddy, lover, husband or some other man in her life can provide. A smile is more powerful than any other pill or tonic you can take and is the most enduring of qualities which rarely fails to attract its desire. When smiles, kindness and handshakes are given together habitually, they will always win and preserve the heart to whom they are addressed along with establishing comfort and peace of mind in the receiver."
