"Every now and then we all need to get a move on in some part of our life that we have procrastinated over for far too long. It may involve getting up the nerve to ask your boss for that raise you deserve or perhaps asking your loved one the inevitable, 'Will you marry me.......' question.
One person may have loaned a friend something one values and finds it long overdue in its return. Another might dearly love to tell a nosy neighbour where to stick their opinions or it could be something as simple as requesting a dance or proposing a date with someone you fancy from work. One husband might be dreading the prospect of spending yet another wasted Chrismas Day at the home of his least favourite mother-in-law while his wife may still be working out how best to tell her husband that his halitosis is ruining their love life. An umarried daughter who had a one-night stand might find herself pregnant and doesn't seem able to find the opportunity and the courage to tell her parents of her dilemma or a fearful son who prefers being in a relationship with males instead of females may be scared of 'coming out.' Some who are fed up with their occupation might wish to pursue the prospects of another, but dare not risk giving up the security of their current job and risk missing their mortgage repayments.
Some of us will resent being pushed, while others respond better to a polite poke in the right direction. And while many can get by with some sound advice in the form of a gentle nudge, others require nothing short of a kick up the Khyber Pass to get them moving. Which type are you?"
