From time to time, there emerges a man or woman who inspires the nation and brings the country together. Sir Tom Moore was that man who showed this country how to put one's best foot forward and raise over £33 million for charity in the process. Even at the age of 99 years, with nothing more than what he had about him, his garden, his walking frame, his legs, and his desire to do something for others he epitomised the belief:
“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
This afternoon, 'Number 10' is flying the flag at half-mast in memory of this great man and he has been praised by the Queen and by the Speaker in the 'House of Commons'. Walk on, Sir Tom. Walk on. You'll never walk alone.
Love and peace Bill xxx
