"If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself. If his experience is constant rejection, self-loathing shall be his lot in life and repeated disappointment his sorry reward. A family is the foundation of a child's emotional roots. Its nourishment or starvation offered shall determine the manner of the child that grows to adulthood. A discouraging family where the child's efforts are 'put down' produces not an adult of confidence or conviction, but a nurturing family with a good father and mother giving the instruction is love within the light of which all else is seen, as the poet T.S.Eliot once said."
