'Seeing Tomorrow' : Copyright William Forde.
'I saw tomorrow yesterday,
it didn't seem so far away.
I looked for winter and saw spring,
I looked for you in everything
I ever wanted, knew and loved,
in every hand I touched ungloved.
And then I saw you far away,
Yesterday'd gone, it was today.
You looked so pure as you lay there
a flower of nature in your hair.
Why did you die and leave me free
when all I wanted was in thee?
In every spring is found a summer,
In every snow a springtime bloom.
A flower so colourful, yet so bleak,
with heart so kind, so warm, so cold,
so soft, so blind, so shy, so bold;
a floral heaven to behold.
Look past the peak of nature's storm,
and biting winds in today's warmth.
Look to the future beyond today,
towards tomorrow in every way.
She's still with you, she'll never go,
and leave true love, her nature's flow.
