"There is a window from one soul to another; there is a desire in the deepest and most troubled of thoughts needing to escape the bondage of the past. There is a place of refuge in the corner of every open mind and a land of plenty yet to be occupied by the free spirit of exploration and adventure."
William Forde: October 6th, 2012.

"The start of every new day is a new opportunity to create our life in the mould of the shape that we want it. Imagine being told the certainty that you have one hour left to live. Only those things that you then choose to do, only those people whom you then seek to contact represent the essential aspects of your life. It is they that make up your wants." William Forde: October 5th, 2012. "Let me awaken the truth of who I really am and who I want to be. We must learn to live without no expectation above that of life itself. We should be able to love without the vision of the beating breast. We must learn to draw our hope from the well of eternity and feed from the soul of humanity so that spiritual sustenance will always be at our side. Eat, drink, sleep and live in this world and you already have found heaven." William Forde; October 4th, 2012. "All manner of people come to the same truth from different directions whether it be the late Les Dawson playing the right notes on his piano in the wrong order or a Brahman monk spending all day perfecting the most ordinary of tasks. In order to acquire the skill to do difficult things easily, one must first learn to do simple things perfectly." William Forde: October 3rd, 2012. "If you can say, 'I'm here for you' to a bereaved person: If you can say, 'I love you' to a parent, brother, sister , wife or child: If you can say,'I need you' to a partner: If you can say, 'I understand' to a friend: If you can say, 'What can I do for you?' to every stranger you meet: If you can say, 'Thank you' to every good act that comes your way and if you can say. 'Sorry' for any bad act committed by you. If you can say all those things my son, then I say, 'you're a man.'I Love you.Dad xxx." William Forde: October 2nd, 2012. "One of their favourite sayings in Jamaica that Bob Marley espoused was, 'No hurry-no worry.' In Ireland, the land of my birth, they don't believe in hurrying either and a favourite saying there upon meeting you is as self evident as the small moustache that Hitler wore above his lip, 'Good day there. Why if it isn't yourself! 'I will conclude with the words of Lao Tzu who reminds us in his writings, 'Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.' That's what Bob Marley said 2,600 years later, isn't it?" William Forde: October 1st, 2012. |
