"If only one wish was granted to me,
to save spring meadows for all to see
would be my wish, my heart's desire
to see spectacular poppy fields fire
icy hearts, stagnant thoughts and sorry souls
back into life where only Nature holds
within its ground, eternity.'

'Dear God' By William Forde.

'Dear God, they say you are good and all that is kind,
I do naughty things, yet you don't seem to mind.
You never stop me or turn me away
from temptation or sin or lead me astray.
It's as though you know I'm not really bad,
just like you know when I'm happy or sad.
Sometimes I think you are talking to me,
but when I look round there is nothing to see
except laughter and smile on another man's face,
the kindness of thought in another man's grace
as they share with their neighbour and grieve with their friend
and talk with the lonely and give, do not lend.
It is then that I see you as you're meant to be,
in him, her and us and in they, them and we.'

'Autumn's Face' by William Forde

'No spring nor summer has such grace as I have seen in autumn's face.
Where beauty blends as foxes wild watch walkers stroll down woodland aisle.
Where leaves lay scattered on the ground, and earth feels soft and thoughts abound
upon our love, our passions spent, our fulfilled dreams, our wild content.
All are seen in autumn's face.'

with love shaped leaves and woodland clay.
Where candy grows on willow trees
and goblins hide behind the clouds,
where Giraffes are found upon their knees
and bears are known to talk to owls.
Innocence is never what it seems,
Within a woodland of child's dreams.'
