My first dedication goes to the birthday celebrant, Luke Zillman who lives in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Enjoy your special day, Luke, and thank you for being my Facebook friend.
My second dedication goes to the birthday celebrant Shelly Hudson who lives in Keighley. Shelley's father died within the past few days and the receipt of both commiserations and congratulations within a matter of mere days will seem very strange for her to contend with. We all grieve with you for the loss of your father, Shelly, and hope that you are able to derive some family pleasure from your birthday today with your family members and loved ones.
My third dedication today goes to the birthday celebrant, 4-year-old Rae Arnold who lives in Ramsgate, Kent. Rae's grandmother, Coleen Milton, specifically asked me to include her granddaughter, Rae, in today's song dedication. This little lady has Cystic Fibrosis, which is an awful life-limiting lung disease. She has been in and out of the hospital so many times that she is on first name terms with the wonderful doctor and nurses in 'Rainbow Ward at QEQM Hospital' in Margate. She can fall ill in minutes and all her family have priority admission to the Children's Ward without going through the usual channel of A&E. Rae has been shielding for 20 weeks and is due to go into Kings College hospital for an operation on 23rd August 2020 where she will also start her trial of a brand new drug for Cystic Fibrosis. Her operation will involve having a permanent line inserted into her body with the means to take blood and administer iv antibiotics, to prevent unnecessary trauma of having needles put in her feet and hands. Coleen Milton describes Rae as an amazing courageous little girl and the hero of the family. Please take a minute out to send little Rae Arnold birthday greetings today on her grandmother's Coleen Milton's Facebook page or in the comment section of this post. Happy birthday, Rae, from all of your Facebook friends.
So many people in society today have mountains to climb before they can see the prospects of new horizons. If our mountains can be climbed with others who love and support us on our journey, it becomes all the easier to endure. My love to all of today's birthday celebrants and their families.
Love and peace Bill xxx
