It would be remiss of me not to mention today, Robert, the son of my good friend, Elaine Craven. Robert was the father of seven children and he never lived to see his grandchildren, although Elaine informs me that one grandchild is with him in spirit.
Robert died on August 16th, 2003 when he was killed in a road accident. Had he still lived, Robert, would have been celebrating his 49th birthday today.
Today, I ask that we turn our thoughts and prayers to the heartbreak caused to his mother, Elaine Craven and family by his tragic death and I ask that his life be remembered fondly for the good man he was.
Elaine, please accept my humble rendition of this Eric Clapton song in the loving memory of your son, Robert. Love and peace Bill xxx
